Nobility Of The Blade

I began this book with its title — Nobility of the Blade — because, for as long as I can remember, I have loved knives and swords.
Since my childhood, blades have fascinated me — not only for their beauty and strength, but for something deeper within them… a quiet dignity that speaks of purpose, courage, and truth.

My late father nurtured that love. He owned a metal factory, and he used to make me swords to play with.
Whenever I saw a sword in a movie — whether it was Zorro’s Spanish rapier, a Japanese katana, a Crusader’s broadsword, or an Arab scimitar — he would craft it for me, perfectly balanced and shining like the real thing.

But he taught me more than how to hold a sword.
He taught me how to respect it — how to handle it with care, how to feel its weight and its will.
He made me understand that a blade is not just a weapon; it is a reflection of the one who wields it.
