Math & mayhem

Victor foia weaves a tale of love , devotion, regret & the longing for redemption. Sebastian, the main character is complicated, both a math genius & a romantic , surviving in a world that does not value those things he does. Well written , well researched the author, skillfully creates a universe where one does not need to know even simple math to understand the fun and chaos that will happen throughout the story. I simply can’t wait for book two where I believe the game No Purchase necessary will like turn the globe & everyone around Sebastian upside down.

NPN book 1

I would like to say I've only read a few books by authors whom I have had the pleasure of knowing in a different capacity, other than literature. I will try to do my best to make this review solely on my experience with the book. However, my background of knowing him and his passion for history, family, and travel only enriched the experience that much more. My trip down NPN book one boulevard was a very pleasant trip. being from the Western part of Washington State it was fascinating to hear about the Eastern side of the state. the rich indigenous culture that us Pacific northwesterners are very familiar with left me with great pride seeing it take a good majority of the spotlight in book one. There's a lot of information to unpack in this book but the author does a great job covering complex topics in a clear and concise easy to follow flow. My only gripe, if you can call it that, is that it leaves me yearning for more. Did a phenomenal job on character development, scenery, describing complex topics that made it very digestible for someone who stopped mathematics at calculous and haven't done much with it since high school. amazing read, looking forward to book 2, highly recommend this book to anyone who loves culture, education, family values, and wants to take a trip to my home state.
