A wonderful journey and love letter to NYC
I was so glad to see that this book was read by the author. It is great to hear the story told in the author’s own words- it’s like experiencing the journey with her! I greatly enjoyed hearing about Brooke’s growth in her spiritual, emotional, romantic, creative writing adventures and herjourney to find home. I loved hearing about all the interesting friendships, roommates and her mom and her processing of all all those experiences and relationships that all propelled her forward. As a writer and former NYC resident I can relate to her search for creative outlet, and a place to call home. A heartfelt and honest memoir!
