Dr. Tony Evans leads by teaching.
When I started to listen to Dr. Evans words, they confronted me. I was like who is this man telling me what I should and shouldn't do. Totally hurt my pride and crushed my super ego. I always thought of myself as a good person, but had a few hang ups. In all honesty deep down inside I knew my lack of values, fear of intimate relationships, and defeatist mentality was not being confronted head on. In today's world MEN are few and far between. Or trying to define themselves by the standards, or lack thereof, of today's culture. Dr. Tony Evans, in this book No More Excuses, offers what my seem like an impossible task for men. I know that anyone who goes through the time and effort with the Word of God, being lead by the Holy Spirit, and walking with Christ like Dr. Tony Evans did will get the victories in their life.

Important Book for Men’s Growth
This book has a lot to offer, especially if you’re working to recover from something or start over from something. The last 20 years have been an attack on men and men need to get back up into leadership roles and begin showing that with our actions not just our words, Tony’s mindset will help you do that.

Excellent Read!!
This book is still so relevant today. It does not bash men but it holds them accountable. It is like a spiritual father have a direct conversation with you to get your stuff straight! Then he lovingly gives you the tools to accomplish that task!
