Abracadabra....

My name is Margaux Asher - and I’m in love.

Crazy, right? Me, the girl who grew up in the lap of luxury and the shadow of cynicism, is now head-over-heels for an apple farmer’s son. He rocks my world and steals my breath, and he loves me for me. Trouble is...he wants all of me. How can I commit that to him if I don’t know who "me" is? There are pieces missing - and not just mine. Unless Michael opens up and shares all of himself, our great beginning won’t ever become a lasting magic tale.

Don’t look at the man behind the curtain....

My name is Michael Pearson - and I’m in love.

Margaux is the fire of my dreams, the fulfillment of my fantasies, and the woman who’s asked the impossible. When your past has been hell, how is it possible to return to it? But fighting this isn’t an option. I have to battle my ghosts or lose her forever. Can I do it? Is love enough to change a person’s soul, or will our magic become a forgotten moment for us both?

good follow up story

Margaux was a spitfire woman who learned she had a heart and he was a man that learned he loved her to no end. their relationship was rough but good at the same time. I wish there was more drama with the uncle but he got what he deserved in the end. the narrators made the story even better.

Low Tone

I love the story and how it all played out. The only thing that bothered me and has bothered through this series so far is how low the female narrators voice is. It seems like she is whispering her parts. It makes her love & dramatic scenes not wanting me to listen.

lots of passion,lots of personality

I liked Margo and Michael! with all their problems, hers from her "mother" who is a real bitch...his with his uncle...lots of drama, self pity etc. but lots of passion. There is something real about them, even with the drama. I loved the sex scenes, which actually suited their personalities a lot! I was glad that things worked out for them. Jason Clarke is a great narrator, comes across all masculine. Devon Grace is awful, and out of character when she does the male voice. Can't understand why she whispers. Doesn't suit Margo at all!!

Secrets Always come out

When you are always looking over your shoulder you realize that's noway to live. When you have an abusive uncle you're always looking over your mother that is until someone turns your head

made me smile...

Not often do you find a book where they enjoy role playing so much, so thank you for shining a light on it. Also, there were alot of parallels drawn between characters that were interresting and often cute.

Amazing

Jason Clarke and Devon Grace did an Amazing job narrating this book. I enjoyed listening to them bring these complex characters to life. This was an intense, emotional, and heartfelt story. I didn’t want it to end.

Epic!

This book took my breath wear. The banter between the two was down right intense and well worth every word! I literally took a break halfway through, due to how upset I was for the shit show occurring in every turn, but damn this book was everything and more!!

Good series continued....

I like the storyline even though I think most of the sex scenes were much too long, often taking practically a whole chapter for one encounter. I fast forwarded through most of it. In juxtaposition, just a few lines summed up the deadly fate of a major antagonist. Very anticlimactic with lots of unanswered questions.

What for me makes this series so hard to listen to is the excruciatingly annoying breathy, whisper speak of the female narrator. She also has what I call mic in mouth problem. You can hear every click, clack or flap of her tongue or lips. When she reads all the parts, you get confused as to who is speaking. I was thankful whenever there was a reprieve and the male narrator read. I’m trying to get through the series because I do like the storyline and all the characters. But, lord the female narrator makes it hard. I do what I can to mitigate the annoyance by adjusting the speed and volume. Maybe it’s just me.
