Publisher's Summary

When Ezra Fain joined the ranks of the CIA, the last thing on his mind was romance. After meeting Kim Soloman, it was difficult to think of anything else. A tragic mistake drove them apart, leaving him shattered and unable to forgive the woman he loved. But when his greatest enemy threatens her life, Ezra leaps into action, prepared to do anything to try to save her.

Solo accepted long ago that she won’t get over Ezra. She’s worked for years to get back into his life, looking for any way to reignite the love they once shared. Unfortunately, nothing seems to penetrate the wall he has built between them. When she’s arrested for a crime she didn’t commit, she believes she’s on her own.

Racing across the globe, Ezra and Solo find themselves together again, caught in the crosshairs of the agency they sacrificed so much to serve. Days on the run soon turn to steamy nights, but Levi Green isn’t about to let them find their happily ever after. And when the smoke clears, the men and women of McKay-Taggart will never be the same again.

Finally!! Ezra/Beck's story

I have to say, Lexi keeps it coming with this one. The spy games, the angst, redemption, love its all here. Ezra/Beck's story has been a long time coming. and I'm shockingly surprised at the span of time this one covered but it was just right for the roller coaster love story between him and Solo/Kim. Levi Green is one of the best villains I've read in romance. what a nut job!! Can't wait to see what's next in store for the McKay Taggart & Knight team 😃

Finally!

Well done, Lexi Blake! An extremely satisfying wrap-up of this part of the story. These two have been dancing around their problems for many books, so I'm glad to see they got their second (or third or fourth) chance. And of course kudos to Ryan West, who is the voice of Masters and Mercenaries - namely Big Tag.

Great New Series!

This origins story for new Bailey’s Brothers series is EVERYTHING! Protecting you sets the foundation for new series and is the story of young love that will have to overcome a heartbreaking adversity. We have met Grace previously in the Miles family series when she found her half siblings; and while it is not necessary to start with the Miles family, I would certainly recommend those amazing books. In Protecting You we get a glimpse into Grace’s and Asher’s younger years and see the evolution of their childhood friendship into young love. We get introductions to the five Bailey brothers, their Gram and learn about their upbringing; as well as their and Grace’s families dynamics and circumstances. The vivid narration gives you a real life like experience and you feel like part of the story. Claire Kingsley has an extraordinary gift for story telling; and Protecting You is an exciting promise for what’s to come. I can’t wait to see Grace’s and Asher’s love story to continue and look forward to visiting with old friends from Salishan Cellars; as well as getting to know a new cast of characters in the Bailey Brothers series. #FreeAsherBailey

Finally... Some relief!

that first chapter and the time jump is a killer. That long? Wth??? I freaking hurt for this couple. More for Kim cause Beck was way to immature. Finally getting his shit together helps, but that boy needs to do tons more in the future years. I would have to have more of a time period of better actions to feel he was jo different then he had been. Every book he had been in before he was too painful to her. I still don't feel enough has changed unless I see it over time. Not sure the author could adequately resolve this due to all the time and pain and distrust. Guess I am glad it was never me, but Kim he was trying to prove himself to. Who knows, maybe I am too bitter for someone to take my advice on this book, but I felt less from this book then I wanted to. The narration is always great with Ryan West. No complaints about the rest. Still love me some Ian.

I loved this story

I have read / listened to every book in the series. I always wanted to know how Kim and Beck’s (also known as Solo and Ezra) story and I wasn’t disappointed. To fully understand their story, the other books would be helpful. But, you won’t be disappointed reading it.

A terrific story, with unending love

Such a wonderful ending to the Lost Boys branch off series. The storyline was perfectly done. We got to find out much more about Beck (Ezra)& Solo’s lives. There was a couple of really interesting people revealed, I won’t spoil it by giving more away. Great narration by Ryan West.

The Band is back together ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you Lexi Blake for a beautiful end to The Lost Boys series. Beck and Kim get the ending they so richly deserved. Ryan West brings all of the characters to life and is the voice of Ian Taggart for life. I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars.

Lexi has done is again!

I have followed the Lost Boys series from the beginning, and I think they have gotten better with every new book. The stories are well-plotted and keep you so involved, and the characters are engaging, This is a book that I will listen to more than once. Ryan West is the perfect narrator, and his voice adds so much to the enjoyment of all the books in Lexi's series that he narrates. I cannot recommend this book and this whole series too highly.

A fitting end to the Lost Boys!!

This book was everything I could have asked for and a whole lot I didn't expect!! I have been waiting for Ezra to get his happily ever after since meeting him many books ago and when Kim/Solo arrived in Lost Hearts and was revealed to be Ezra's ex-wife I knew that their story would be one amazing second chance!! I don't want to give too much away as this book has some twists and turns I didn't see coming and going it unspoiled is definitely the best way. But know that this book is sexy, thrilling, heart-stopping, jaw-dropping and heartfelt!! You will laugh (and yes Ian helps with that!), you will cry and you will be begging for the next book in this INCREDIBLE world!! Note: I loved this book so much, I got the audio and listened to it as soon as I finished reading and it was JUST AS AMAZING the second time around!! Ryan West is the BEST narrator for this series and he did an incredible job voicing all the characters (and if you've read/listened to this story you'll know what I mean!)
