Oh Indie! You had me worried!

This is book two in the No Shame series and they do need to be read in order.
In No Limits, this is predominantly Josh and Connor’s story, but we still get a lot of Noah and Indie.
I loved Josh and Connor’s romance, how they grew in each other and Connor came out with no issues whatever for Josh.
I loved how Nora Phoenix deals with both the PTSD of all the men, There was a kinda of gut-wrenching twist that did evoke some motion in me having me question my favorite character of this season so far…Indie... but in the end, he redeemed himself to me and I still love him. I cannot wait to see what is next in this series.
No threesomes in this book, just loving couples growing and learning about their needs.
I do suggest if you can to grab the audios. Kenneth Obie adds a fabulous voice to each character ( two to Indie) and he really acts out the book not just reading it. (Be sure you’re not in public on the sex scenes because oh my!)
If you like mild BDSM, Dom/sub, stories of broken men, healing, hurt/comfort, friends, and some very hot man-sex this is for you!

high anxiety

Down and dirty with serious drama and issues. I empathized with the struggle to be authentic and out. The prejudices and vile actions of the bigots were hard to listen to. I didn't understand or agree with the sympathy sex with Noah???!!! There were other ways to handle that. PTSD, martyrs, selfishness, revenge and resolution, growth and change. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

I need the next one!

I enjoyed the story and am ready for the next book to be available in Audible. I love the story and the relationships that developed.

Perfect!!

I love listening to audio books after I have read the book. Because I already love the characters, they become so much more real to me. When you have a very talented narrator it's even better. Kenneth Obi perfectly matched the voice to the person. I have family from all over New England so it was a please to hear. Though I have to say, Nora Phoenix showed remarkable restraints because, at least in my family, I expected a whole lot more F bombs. I still get shocked by one aunt lol. Seriously, a beautiful story told in a voice that makes feeling the emotions so much deeper.

Great second book

I confess I started this book not having listened to book 1. I soon found out that was a mistake. I was too confused about what the characters were referring to. I stopped after two chapters and listened to book 1. So much better, no limits is definitely not a stand alone but a continuation from the previous book. An what a fantastic story it is. I have become a fan of Nora Phoenix’s writing style. It’s to the point and pulls no punches. This second book is no exception. The emotions conveyed by Kenneth Obi between Josh and Connor, Noah and Indi are palpable. This story is more about Connor and Josh’s emerging relationship but their future is so wrapped up with Noah and Indi they have to play a big part. Can’t wait to continue with the series.

Brilliant second book.

The story continues in the no shame series. This book is about the relationship between Josh and Connor, however it also continues the story in regards to Noah and Indie, it was good to see what they were up to now and to meet Connor properly, he is the police officer I book 1.

Kenneth’s narration was really good, he does so well with the different accents required in this book, it was easy to picture the scenes going through this book and can not wait for the next one to come out on Audio.
