Very enjoyable

Went into this blind and didn't know what to expect and definitely wouldn't expect a romance between vigilantes? Mercenaries? Well, it's high on the steam meter, that's for sure. Enjoyed this quite a bit and love a good savior story. Must get the second because kitties! ❤️

I loved it!

Lori Foster does it again. The story is action packed. The strong Hero and even stronger Heroine is a nice change. She can handle herself but likes it that the hero wants to protect her. Bravo I loved it

was completely unprepared for this book. the MFC, MMC and side characters - love them all. be aware deals with human trafficking and vigilante justice. narration is also excellent. don't miss this. I couldn't stop listening.

Very good book

Kept my attention, fast paced, great chemistry between the characters. Really enjoyed this book. John lane is always a great narrator.

Best book I listened to in a long time.

Interesting storyline. Well done Lori. Great narration. Suspenseful but not overly violent. I can’t wait for the next one.

Totally binge worthy. Loved it

Lori Foster did an amazing job with this story and its characters. I loved the story once I started I was totally engrossed in it. Also shout out to the narrated well done. I highly recommend this.

Good book but not my favorite from this author!

I love Lori Foster and have read a lot of her books. This one was good and I did stay interested throughout. Not one of my favorites of her but definitely worth a read.

Too dark and violent for me

i couldn't get past chapter 4. i know this is really life and the writing was is excellent, but I don't need this much violence in my entertainment. i had to turn it off and get a refund.

this is the Lori Foster I love

Yes. This is what I've been missing from LF. I loved her "Men Who Walk On The Edge of Honor", "Love Undercover" ,"SBC FIGHTERS" and "Ultimate" series. I love the men in these series who are tough alpha males that toe the line between good and bad, but for a good cause. This book falls right in with those and I'm here for it. I loved that for once the heroine in her book wasn't a damsel in distress, she actually knew a little about protecting herself and was doing what needed to be done to help others. The hero is an alpha male, former military and extremely observant. He notices the heroine coming in his bar and is protective from a distance. The book starts off mysterious and LF continues with the suspense of the secondary plot throughout the book. I loved that the backstories of both characters are almost similar in nature which makes for a bond. The chemistry is magnetic between the two and LF is never shy when it comes to the romance part of the story.  Sex was fire. I really enjoyed the relationship that the Mackenzie family had with each other and how the heroine fit right in almost immediately. I really enjoyed this book. Can't wait to read the next one.
