Love this book!

This book was recommended by a friend. I like to listen in my car. I found myself returning home and sitting in my driveway until the chapter was finished. Sequel? Please!!

Don't go throwing rocks from the moon!

I really liked this story. I liked how it used a couple of different ideas and brought them all together to make the story unique. I thought the plot was going one way and then it took a turn that I was not expecting, which is always fun in a book. I would recommend this one if you like a space adventure with some political intrigue mixed in. Neat ending that leaves room for more story to be told.

Painful dialogue

The dialogue between characters is rigid and unnatural, which distracts from an interesting storyline that had potential. It was honestly painful to listen to at times when certain characters interacted. I’ll concede that this could be due to the way it was narrated, but still, there were multiple times I wanted to check if the author was still in middle school to make sure I wasn’t getting frustrated with a child writing his first book.

Not my Cup of Tea

I have to be honest. I really wanted to like this book. But:
I was sadly disappointed in this book. First the premise that only the Chinese would be interested in Extraterrestrial artifact is mind boggling. There would have been a rush to the object. The characters are juvenile and their interaction is to the point of painful. The narration is so bad I almost stopped. I kept hoping the story and narration might improve. Sadly it was not so. I see the narrator has worked on another series and was used for sevral books so he must have some abilities but they were lacking here.
I’ll wait until this author gets better ratting before using another credit.
