Publisher's Summary

Jane Marsh plans a reunion for her gourmet dinner club, first camping in the Rocky Mountains with lavish menus and provisions, then a getaway to Estes Park at a luxurious cabin. Before they can break their boots in, gunshots explode in the middle of the night, and Jane discovers the body of the campground host.

Since the club members are packing revolvers to practice at the firing range, her friends become prime murder suspects. Heading into dangerous terrain, Jane explores the dead man’s reckless past to solve the crime before their wilderness adventure goes up in smoke.

Romance, Humor, Murder in Estes Park

No Grater Evil by Karen C Whalen is a mix of my favorite genres, mystery, romance and humor. The setting of this book is Estes Park, which is near and dear to my heart. I really enjoyed this listen and thought the narrator, Ann Simmons brought the characters to life. This book is part of the Dinner Club Murder Mysteries, and is a standalone listen. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. I had not pegged the killer, so kudos to the author.

Anothe fun one.

Jayne and her dinner club friends are off camping and dining rustic style. When a body shows up and many of them become suspects Jayne strikes out to solve it as only she can. I like Jayne but sometimes she can be a bit stupid. Im not sure if its a narration thing but even the exciting moments can be monotone. I do enjoy the series and loved the camping woodsy feel of this book. I will continue on with the dinner club adventures I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Cozy Camping with The Dinner Club

No Grater Evil (The Dinner Club Murder Mysteries, Book 3)
: Karen C. Whalen

This third book in the series has the gourmet dinner club on a camping trip. When they find the body of the camp host, most of the club become suspects along with other people. The search is on for the real killer and many have a reason to be considered. I'm looking to see where there next adventure will take them.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Ann Simmons voice is pleasant enough, but could put a little more emotion in it.
