Life changing

I usually don’t do this…but this is not just a book that you can read once and put it away. I promise you will read this book as if it’s the first time over and over again. As a single woman I thought I wouldn’t be able to relate to much. However it most definitely has taught a lot about relationships, being productively single, and religion. Thank you Kendall & Fantasia for this book❤️

New perspective

This book was open and honest. They were able to convey their story in a way that anyone could relate. I highly recommend this book!

God was at the center of this story

what stood was just how God brought these two individuals together and just see how they relied on him to get through their struggles. I really learned a lot of things. though I am not married yet but I learned a lot about what I need to learn before get into any serious relationship. Such a touching story.

This book was excellent, I love the raw honesty of the up’s and downs of marriage. Also, this book helps with personal development. This was a pre-premarital counseling and also a map to currently married couples!!

Black love very well written and vocally executed

I didn’t know what to expect buying this book. I know thru past experiences that a title is just that a title. The authors were honest and humbled thru their narration of their book. They cover a lot of ground as a couple but gloss over a lot of topics that would have brought cohesion to their book. Firstly, why anyone would buy their book is because of Fantasia. I personally was looking for more candor on her part about her idol experience, and her life and journey thru the industry prior to meeting her king. The book was still refreshing in its showing of black love. The only problem I had was of the poor usage of the word circumcised. It was a poor choice and your proof reader should have caught it. A better choice would have been cut out or deleted.

Fluency and chemistry

This was a great listen. Overall it was fluent and showed great chemistry. Provide many thought provoking moments and pauses to consider yourself as the reader and areas that could use growth. I enjoyed the organic openness of their story and providing insight as a testimony to others.
