In Point Man Ministries we have a patch that says, "not all wounds are visible". I've had a story to tell from the moment I stepped back onto American soil in 1970 after serving in Vietnam for a year, but it took 50 years for that story to find the right words, and for those words to find their voice. My time in Vietnam ended in 1970, but I carried my experiences home with me like a heavy backpack full of unprocessed emotion. The ugliness of war was strapped to my back, and I carried the burden with me, unable to put it down.

This book is not just an account of the author’s time during the war but also a practical and biblical “instruction manual” on how to find help dealing with the effects of PTSD. I loved the personal stories and the resources that were shared. I would not only recommend to veterans to read but anyone that has experienced trauma in any form.
