Gripping

This series continues to keep me gripped by the storyline. The characters are strong and energetic. I’d love to see more connections between the characters and I feel the next book will step up yet another level. Great narration.

Great Follow Through

I love how the book continues seamlessly form the first one. The dangers are unfolding the plot is thickening. I can not wait to see what happens next. #AudiobookObsession

Steady entertainment

My husband & I are enjoying our joint listening sessions during our work commute. They story lines are building, not with huge splashy reveals but smaller insights & clues through the multiple characters & angles. Great cliffhanger here & looking forward to term 3.

Secrets and intrigue

Maeve tries to navigate her way through this new world but is met with more lies and secrets. Her bonds with her men continue to grow. I don’t want to give anything away but that ending I can’t wait for more. This also has an excellent narration to go with the story.

Nightworld Academy Book 2

The nightworld crew is back for 2nd term and more secrets come into play. There were so many twists and turns in this story I'm not sure I kept them all straight. I cant wait to see what happens next!

Intrigues and Secrets at the Academy

Nightworld Academy Term Two starts with Mauve, Amelia, Jaime, Ash, and Andrei from Term One, surviving their last ordeal from the Hunters on Halloween Night. The question is could they trust Tobias, their professor from selling them out.

With Mauve's prediction of Jaime's death, Jaime has been left behind from his confrontation with the school bullies and mission for his own protection. This makes Jaime seek the the forbidden Deadwood magic for a protection spell.

Mauve is still learning and adopting from her human life to a life of a witch. Her abilities are stilling manifesting themselves. She has to learn to control them or left them control her. She is also attracted to Jaime, Ash, Andrie and including her professor, Tobias.

Being in a supernatural school also taught Mauve that everyone is keeping secrets.

Just when I thought the story would end, it ends with a cliffhanger of who is Vincent?

Nightworld Academy Term Two is full of intrigue and secrets. Could Mauve trusts anybody at the Academy completely? Even with her being attracted to Jaime, Ash, Andrie, and Tobias, she is discovering the secrets they hold. I can't wait to see who she choose and the role that she play in her new life.

The narrator, Sarah L. Colton does a wonderful performance for the female characters, Mauve, Amelia, and even Catherine (who is Ms. Popularity). And the other narrator, Steve Campbell delivers with the male characters, especially on Andrie and Tobias.

For new readers/listeners, I would strongly recommends to read/listen to Nightworld Academy: Term One. New readers/listeners wouldn't get lost with a the quite summary at the beginning of Nightworld Academy: Term Two but trying to figure out what happened would be sketchy.

Nightworld Academy

What just happened? I am loving this series. Maeve is learning more about herself and her powers. She is also growing closer to her new friends at the academy. We have the beginnings of some complicated relationships that I want to know more about and what is going to happen next with them. Learn more about Tobias and Andrei, but there's so much more there to uncover. And Ravenhold..... what is the connection between that place, the Academy and the Dominion? So many questions that I need answers to. I can't wait until the next book comes out.
I absolutely love the narrators!!! They both do such an amazing job with the different characters.

Solid 2nd Book

This book was on par with the first. The storyline was always intriguing and kept me wanting to know more. The cliffhanger at the end has me wanting term 3 now! The performance was ok, I do still enjoy Sarah Colton more than Steve Campbell as a narrator. Overall I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars if I could #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Exciting Read

This is an exciting continuation. So many truths are unveiled, lies along with lies and deceit that i'm not totally sure who or what to trust. Maeve and her group are trying to cope with the events from Halloween but there's some shocking twists in store for them.

The romance is a very slow burn, by the end of two books there's been one kiss. But there's so much more to the story. The world an character building are great and the story keeps me hooked for the next book.

Sarah L. Colton and Steve Campbell were both wonderful. I enjoyed listening to them and they both were clear and had a good pace.
