Publisher's summary

How do you explain something that you can't prove or touch?

You know without a doubt that something is there, lurking in the corner, watching your every move yet invisible to the naked eye.... Your heart thuds and pounds against your ribs. Your fear spikes so high that your stomach twists and turns, and your pores prick with chill before layering your skin with a fine sheen of sweat.

And when you sleep...you can feel them, smell them, see them, but no one else can. It haunts you in the night, holding you prisoner to your bed, tormenting you with an unrelenting terror. You're paralyzed and helpless, unable to scream, unable to think rationally...unable to move.

Is this the trick of the mind, or is Victoria truly plagued with real demons?

Based on a true story, it's the stuff of nightmares...literally.

This is part one, two, and three of the Night of Terror series. Listener discretion advised.

A true story of a phenomenal spirit

I truly enjoyed listening to this true story of one woman's fight against physic attacks from demonic entities. D. Fischer's strength and struggle to get rid of the entities that wanted to break her is phenomenal. These stories may be short but they are packed full of family, love and best of all spiritual empowerment. I highly recommend this book to everyone because it will reach you to never give up and have faith. I received this book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review here of my own volition. Do not miss this book I promise you will not be disappointed.

Creepy & intriguing paranormal tale

More than once while listening I found myself with intense goosebumps and chills up my spine. This was a well-written short story in multiple parts of a paranormal haunting of one family over a period of years. It has all the angst and internal struggle when dealing with the paranormal, wondering if the MC is suffering from delusions or mental health issues. The worry the partner or other people won’t understand what is really happening. The added creep factor that really twisted me up was that the entity was affecting the child in the home and all the issues that happened in the night with that. As a mother, that hit me hard and scared me terribly! Roll all that up and add in the fact that this is a true story and it will have you looking at your cracked closet door a lot differently! Overall, very well written, interesting, and spooky read. I enjoyed it.

Love this narrator and love this story.

Love this narrator and love this story. This really gave me that chilling, creep factor and love D. Fischer's ability to use such descriptive language. It really helps pull you into the story to make you feel as if you're there in the moment with her.

A scariest ghost stories are the true ones

The scariest ghost stories are the ones based on real events. This trilogy is based on things that happened to this author. It made me more intrigued and I want to sit down with her and find out more. This was legit scary. And this narrator really made me feel the story. This story follows a family being plagued by hauntings through the years. It has a woman wondering if she's crazy. Also her fear that her husband and family won't believe her. And a child really being affected. I had chills and goosebumps the whole time. A great horror read/listen for all paranormal fans!

Read with the lights on

I listened to this while walking my dog in the dark. I don't recommend doing that. This is a paranormal realism story that makes you think twice about that shadow you saw out of the corner of your eye, the chill on the back of your neck, the bad feeling in a certain part of the building. Recommended for fans of found footage films and paranormal investigations. A story that is by turns creepy, dark and fantastic, it is sure to creep into your nightmares. Based on a true story, this is an all to believable, intensely descriptive tale of things that go bump in the night. The narrator did an excellent job capturing the emotions of the story.

This is an honest and voluntary review of an ARC
