Wonderful Series

I just love this whole series. Ron Ripley is an incredibly likeable writer whose stories don’t challenge the reader but I don’t want a fight. I want a good entertaining story with ample chills and an exciting storyline and even the occasional laugh. In these horrific times we live in I can’t tell you how good a dependable horror story is. And he’s invented a young autistic Chinese boy named Jimmy Chen who’s something of an occult detective of around 9 or 10 and is utterly unscarable which proves a hilarious super power. You just have no idea how enraged monsters get if they don’t scare you. They pitch monstrous tantrums which are pure comedy gold. And the sensitivity to autism is beautifully empathetic. You fall in love with the stolid and unflappable Chinese boy almost instantly. Please Mr Ripley - could Jimmy get his own book at some point ? I would snatch that right up.

Addicting!

The narration is soothing to listen to at night. The narrators are really good! Some stories aren't super scary in the series, but most are really good! i am probably going to buy them all lol.

Love these horror anthologies!

Usually you get short weird stories where authors get a chance to be artistic without the worry. This is NOT that kind of a group of tales!!

Most of these are scary. Some of these, and I LOVE horror books, I had to turn off & turn the lights on!! Truly scary.

I listened to the first one and half way through purchased the next 2 anthologies!!! It's that good!!!!

should be called sad l, depressing and sometimes gory instead of scary.

Way too many one sided political messages in almost every story. It almost seems like a political messaging platform.
