One of my favorite series!!!
A vampire series that is not for the easily offended!! Bill and Sally have become two of my favorite fictional characters! I discovered the author, Rick Gualtieri, listening to the podcast Authors and Dragons (freakin awesome, by the way). Started listening to the authors' books and have loved all of them!! Currently on my third listen through of Tome of Bill!!! And Christopher John Fetherof does an awesome job bringing the series to life in the audiobooks!!

to buy a book or not to buy a book question
if this is the first time getting into the series great but if you are someone who like myself has the entire series then there's the problem and that is if you've read the first book in the series then this is a redundant book and not worth buying as it is ripped out of the first and second book and dealing with the problems of the coven's politics in New York

Fun filler book!
For a 1.5 book short story.... this is great. I mean, when have you ever heard of a vampire actually smart enough to use armor? Finally an author who is thinking outside the box. The narration is great as well. Full marks.

A journey back in time!
How could I possibly have forgotten about these side stories?
Man, this was a fun journey back into the original Tome of Bill universe. Here we find Bill trying to prove himself to be the badass we know he isn't. And of course, we had Sally there throughout the entire thing to bring about some sarcasm along with prodding and planning that Bill often overlooks.
Rick and Chris both knocked this out of the park, as per the usual, with the writing and narration.
