Toughen Up
I love WWII thrillers like this and while this book has much promise, there is one thing that bothered me. The main character is a sniper. That requires some self assured skill and bravery. Rees has none of that. Constantly afraid and questioning her every decision. Great potential and a good listen….but…it could be a great listen if the main character toughened up a bit…hopefully the author takes that to heart in the next installment….oh, narration was very good…that always helps!
