Richard Matheson is a good writer and he knows how to bring the suspense. The ending was weak though and the voice acting was pretty bad. I enjoyed the opening joke though.

Not a great episode

Increasingly creepy story. Great ending. Initially unconvincing voice acting, that gets better as the episode progresses. Obtrusive mood music.

All in all a very good episode.

Slow start but as tension builds - great episode.

Entertaining but flawed adaptation of a classic Twilight Zone episode. What works? The story, pure and simple. It's a Richard Matheson piece, it's going to be good and it is! What goes against it? The acting. Marshall Allman is portraying the role played by William Shatner in the original episode and he's quite clearly miscast. William Shatner was a grown man and looked and sounded like one. Marshall Allman may have been of age when he played the same part but he sounds like a twelve year old kid with that high pitched voice of his. It robs the character of any gravity he might have possessed because I don't believe in him or his dilemma. It doesn't ruin the piece, because it's so well written and the supporting actors are all good and the sound design and music save it from it's dismal lead. All in all I recommend because of the writing and production value just moderate your expectations and you'll be fine.
