Good story but narrator not so good, skip it
Skip this one… I listened to the whole thing because the story line was ok but the whole time I felt super irritated at the reader. Too robotic, no emotion, worlds were pronounced incorrectly.Overall, I will be skipping any computer read book from now on.

i never ever leave reviews but the fact virtual voice narration is so bad! there's no human interpretation so you lose the context and emotion. its very monotone and the accents and inflections are in the wrong place.

Virtual Voice
I gave the virtual voice a try. It was very hard to follow the story line as there is no inflection or change in the voice from character to character. Additionally, some words were missed or mispronounced. I found myself backing up several times to figure out who was talking. It was not enjoyable.

Virtual voice narration made this book awful. A computer reading it was like torture. I skipped ahead so much I was done in 2 hrs. Story had some potential, but not great. Super annoyed that I even wasted my time.
