Learn how to pronounce Maleficent!

Would you try another book written by The New York Times or narrated by The New York Times?

I love the NYT audible subscription in general and it has become something I look forward to every day, BUT...

How could the performance have been better?

Today they reviewed Maleficent, and COMPLETELY mis-pronounced it, consistently. Note to the narrator (who is usually pretty good): it's pronounced muh-leff-eh-sent.

Didn't you ever see Sleeping Beauty when you were a kid?

He was pronouncing it "mal-efficient", like she was just absolutely terrible at being efficient. Painful to hear. Yuck.
