The book is extremely well organized: 4 sections: 1. Getting Ready 2. Labor, Delivery, and Pospartum Period 3. Breastfeeding 4. The Fourth Trimester. Parents can easily locate questions and answers- all communicated in an anxiety-free style. I highly recommend this book!

It's feasible and sounds promising

I'm feeling less on edge now with the feasible methodologies I can apply in sustaining my child and counteracting those restless evenings. It sure is a great asset!

Great listen!

I bought this book for my husband after we found out I was pregnant with our first child. My husband is someone who always listen the directions and manuals when we get new ideas. This book was a perfect guide for him and provides a great explanation of the basics of baby. A few of the recommendations have changed since the book was published so a few things are not in practice anymore but overall it was a great listen. He listened the entire book in about a week and told me he will be referring back to it when our new baby arrives. Definitely get this book, you won't regret it! And the way its explanation had us both laughing..(which you need when you are feeling overwhelmed with having a baby)

Fantastic book!

This book has everything you need from pregnancy and beyond. I love the way this is written, it's informative without being in your face. It's more like story telling than instructional. A lot of the philosophy is do what works for you and read the signs from your baby. I also like that there is medical research to back their claims as well as home testimony. I recommend this book to ANY new parent so that they can realize that babies aren't a dog you are supposed to train, but a human being who has their own quirks, their own schedules, and their own way of doing things. Fantastic book!

great book for new parents

I found it very informative and the perfect length. I definitely feel more prepared for my future with my son.

Very informative audible

I bought two of these books as gifts before my baby was due. The first one I got for my best friend who was going to be a first time "Aunt", and was a little apprehensive about helping care for a newborn, since she had little experience around babies. The second one I got for my husband as a shower gift to help him learn the basics. Both of them really enjoyed the listen, it's humorous, but still informative. It's definitely a "beginners guide", I wouldn't purchase this for a mother- it really does just cover the basics of things like "How to Hold a Baby" or "How to Change a Diaper", etc. Useful info for those who have no idea what they're doing around babies (no shame in that!). Not much re-listen value, but does help learning these things a bit more fun. Great gift for clueless caregivers everywhere!

Strongly recommend!

I bought the audio book and listened to it while commuting back and forth in my car. Strongly recommend for lazy/busy people. I am glad that I learned about the concept of attached parenting and importance of breastfeeding. I think I will listen to the newborn part again just to recap before my baby arrives.

This was great - useful information that was condensed efficiently into a short run time. That will come in handy if we ever want to reference the material again.

Wonderful information

If you listen this book, you have to take it with a light heart. The author wanted to be informative to the general population with an attempt to make things funny and keep listeners interested. Personally, I found it funny and interesting and learned a few things. HOWEVER, if you listen this book with the intent of wanting information straight and to the point, this book is for you.
