Broussard and Kit use their disciplines to profile the killer, but it soon becomes clear that the clues and objects they’ve found are part of a sick game that the killer is playing with Broussard; a game most likely engineered by one of the hundreds of attendees at the annual forensics meeting being held in New Orleans. Has Broussard finally met his match?

It's OK

‘New Orleans Requiem’ is an interesting read but not exactly a page turner. The story follows investigators as they try to solve a series of murders in New Orleans. They’re not particularly gruesome and there isn’t a ton of action to put it in the thriller category and it didn’t take me long to whittle the suspect pool down to the point where they got it about half way through the book. Normally with character driven series’ there is something that makes the main characters standout, but I didn’t find Kit nor Andy to be that quirky or noteworthy. Overall it’s well written and thought out for those who like mysteries but didn’t add enough for me in the way of action or descriptions which made me feel as if I’m in the crescent city with them.

Mr. Troxell does a great job with the narration I really enjoyed it!

Loving this series!

The first book in the series got me enthralled and I have continued to listen to the series. The characters are fantastic and the stories are the best. I can’t wait for more!!!

Would you ever listen to anything by D. J. Donaldson again?

Probably not. Where were the New Orleans accents? Not one Cajun accent at all. Very disappointed.

Would you be willing to try another one of Brian Troxell’s performances?

Not sure. He read this one, in my opinion, like an instruction manual.
