not your typical romance
If you are looking for Hot and Steamy, you are in the wrong place. This is a G rated romance, but a beautiful story none the less. It is an experience told in the perspective of two women, one much older and one younger. I loved having two stories woven into one. I laughed, I cried, and felt inspired. It is rare to find a story that warms your heart, makes you think, and drives home a beautiful message.

Pure junk.
I listen to a lot of Books on tape - about 3 per week. This is the WORST I have ever heard. It is not a romance book. Unless you call three kisses a romance. It would better be described as a book about running from huricane Katrina, and not even good at that. BORING...BORING...BORING

What a wonderful story.
Sometimes the things we learn growing up can overshadow what God wants for us.
Lisa Wingate tells a heart touching story with humor, romance, and family history. The narrators are perfect for Never Say Never!

One of the most enjoyable books I have ever read
The overall message of the book was very pertinent to this reader, and yet it was also a very light hearted read. I know I have downgraded this author previously for profanity, foul language, and making it seem as though morality were optional, but not this book! This book was clean with the morals very clear all the way through! One of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. I would love hearing more from these characters.

Another masterpiece, plain and simple!
There wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this story. The story itself was excellent - I could not put it down. The narration was equally superb - I love Johanna Parker. And I am glad to have met Peggity Price - she is delightful. On top of that, Lisa Wingate, aside from being an outstanding wordsmith, has a marvelous sense of humor - she had me laughing out loud multiple times! She also had me close to tears more than once. DEFINITELY a very good read!

Great CLEAN romance
Well developed characters. Story line was sad in places but pulled together at the end neatly. Sometimes a little wordy in places, but a very enjoyable read.
