Publisher's summary

What happens when two frenemies can't stop pushing each other's buttons? Find out in this tender, laugh-out-loud-funny romance from number-one New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely, available in audio first!

Never Have I Ever been so infuriated by a man I wanted to kiss.

They say opposites attract, but I beg to differ. Combust is more like it. Because every single time I talk to Zach Nolan, I see red.

The too-good-looking, too-smart, too-effortlessly-charming single dad who works down the hall from me has turned getting under my skin into a sport. Call it the battle of wits between the wedding planner and the divorce attorney.

Trouble is, when we’re forced into closer quarters, planning an engagement party for our best friends, I start to see his other sides.

And I fear I’m falling for the enemy.

***

I’m not out to make friends. My goals are simple - fight till the end for my clients, and my family.

The last thing I need is a vibrant, outgoing, snarky, and surprisingly big-hearted wedding planner to spend my precious free time with...except, watching Piper bond with my daughter just might break down the cinder block walls I’ve built around my heart these last few years.

Second chances don’t come around for guys like me...or do they?

More Please

Listening to a Lauren Blakely book is like watching your favorite Rom-Com. I say this because she and the narrators are so talented it is as if you are watching the story play out in your head like a movie.

This story is no different I love the Frenemies to lovers, the banter and the one-liners to the wit it’s fun and funny and makes for one heck of an interesting story.

Zach and his past will pull on your heartstrings and Piper and her openness makes you want to root for her. You want them to see each other as something more. I loved the falling in love it is always my favorite part. But also the fact that it wasn’t just them it was also his children and how they are so a part of the story you fall for the whole thing.

Le Sigh I loved it. I loved that Amanda Ronconi and Jason Clarke feel like these characters and not like they are just reading. I loved it 100% hope we get more Amanda in Lauren’s books.

I'm still swooning...

Never have I ever been disappointed with a Lauren Blakely book-and this one? This one is hands down one of my favorites. Frenemies to lovers and a single dad? Yes, please! This book made me smile and swoon and even brought me to tears.

Piper and Zach were an absolute delight to get to know. They're part of the same group of friends, but not exactly friendly initially which just made their interactions that much more fun. The banter between them had me smiling, and the way their relationship evolved just felt so natural and organic. I fell for Zach before Piper did; he just absolutely had my heart from the very start. These characters felt real and like people I would want to hang out with-so I'm ready to join their group of friends.

As mentioned above, Zach is a single dad. The interactions he has with his kids in this book were so incredible. I loved watching him figure out how to balance everyone and their needs-including his own. He's smart, sexy and has a sweet side that just made me melt. Piper is much the same way-and her kind and giving heart just made me smile.

The writing of this book is just superb. It's witty and fun and it just flows perfectly. I personally love how this Author weaves in characters (and places!) we've met before, but this is absolutely enjoyable as a standalone.

These narrators brought this book to life for me. I adore Jason Clarke (who doesn't) and I love all of his different tones and inflections for different characters. Amanda Ronconi was newer to me but her timing and tone were just impeccable. These two played off each other seamlessly and just were delightful to listen to. I didn't want to stop listening to this story!

I would honestly give this more stars for both the performance and the story if I could. I truly believe these narrators nailed these characters and brought them to life so very well. As for the story, I said before and I'll say again that this is one of my favorite Lauren Blakely books. This is heart, humor and heat with a side of sweet. I loved it and can't wait to listen again.

Loved this delightful frenemies to lovers romance!

I loved this delightful frenemies to lovers romance! It was so sweet, touching, and steamy. Zach and Piper were acquaintances in college, having the same group of friends. Ten years later they continue to hang with the same friends, are both successful and work in the same building. They have always been like fire and ice, exchanging barbs whenever they are together. But all of a sudden, their taunts have become more fun and fiery, adding fuel to their growing sexual tension. They both have things in their pasts that make it hard for them to know how to handle these powerful new feelings. But between Zach's adorable children, and their fun, loving and supportive friends, that won't be a problem for long. Zach with his kind and gentle nature and his devotion to his kids, first and foremost, then to his family, friends, and clients, makes him so swoony and my favorite hero! Put them together and I am totally in love with Zach and Piper! They are both strong, witty, and caring people, and their chemistry and passion is off the charts. The narration by Jason Clarke, and Amanda Ronconi, is truly one to savor. Their comedic timing is impeccable, delivering Blakely's signature witty banter flawlessly. Their voice changes were so compelling, including the young children, and they easily made me feel all the turmoil, fun, and passion between these characters. I loved this unique, refreshing, witty romance, with mind melds, firsts, lists, and letters being some of my favorite highlights that brought me to tears, made me swoon, and laughing out loud. Blakely continues to create hilarious, touching, and hot and sexy romances that capture my heart and Clarke and Ronconi helped make Never Have I Ever a masterpiece!

Easy Breezy

It was a charming reparte' between characters. The voice actors were very good and the story was delightful. It was a good break from tensions and stress of relationship melodrama.

I wish I could give it 10 stars

This was a slightly more serious story from Lauren Blakely as although it was full of steam and her trademark humour that has made her so successful, it also dealt with grief and moving on. Never Have I Ever is one of the best audio books that I have listened to this year.
You need to listen to this one and form your own opinions as for me it was a fabulous experience listening to Jason Clarke and Amanda Ronconi. It is a story of enemies to lovers, overcoming grief, acceptance, family, laughter, friendship and above all love.
I fell hard and fast for Zach Nolan and honestly he just melted my heart; he is my newest book boyfriend. Zach and Piper Radcliff have been frenemies for years and the last thing either of them expected was to develop feelings for one another.
This story was at times highly emotional as Zach and Piper navigated their relationship all the while keeping it on the down low. The relationship that Zach has with his children Lucy and Henry was so heart warming and I loved how the friendship developed between Piper and Lucy in particular.
Of course the chemistry between Zach and Piper was smoking hot and there were plenty of laugh out loud moments through out. I don’t think I will ever play a game of Never Have I Ever without immediately recalling this audio book.
Loved, loved, loved.

Loved this book!

Jason Clarke and Amanda Ronconi did so well as narrators! Jason Clarke is quickly becoming one of my fav narrators. I loved Zach and his interaction with his children. I enjoyed Piper not being a push over. She was very outspoken and I loved that. There were some funny\ cute moments in the book. It was a very easy read. This is not a tear jerker or anything dramatic. Fun, easy, sweet and a little sexy\steamy. I now wanna read Sloane and Malones story!

Loved it

I truly enjoyed this book. It was satisfying to see the growth of the relationship between the H/h. I have read books that have all this angst and can be activating because of it. You always have that feeling that you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop. This story was about continual growth and I loved that about it.
