Total Crap

Don’t waste your money. Richard Bandler is one of the co-founders of NLP. David Bandler is not... enough said.

Self-Help book. NOT a science book

This is a book about teaching yourself how to communicate better. It provides almost no science, choosing to say things like "A study once showed X stimulus produced Y". What was that study? How did they do it? When? With whom? etc.
Indeed, Richard Bandler is the NLP founder. I couldn't find anything on David Bandler which all but confirmed my suspicion, this book is not what it claims.

Meh

This book gives few techniques on how to use NLP. It is more of a self help book giving life advise with sprinkles of NLP. The narration sounds like a robot.

Great book and excited to apply this to my daily life. The author provides detailed exercises with how to deal with having more insight into your emotional being and ways to work on them. I think it has helped me with my relationships with friends and work

This was the best price

This was the best price I could find for the title. I use it for myself personally and to help friends. It has an easy to follow format and you can skip sections to personalize it to your needs without losing the concept of the therapy.

A lot of fun points

A lot of fun points. Such as, people continually stuff their heads with worthless data (news addiction), and the myth of the importance of the rational mind. Definitely some new ways of looking at the world

What a disappointment

Haven't managed to finish this book. Got so confused with what the author is trying to convey in here.
He is very briefly talking about a few NLP techniques for the first 10 or so minutes and then goes into manipulation.
One chapter warns you how to recognize being manipulated and leave the scene if you are and the next chapter actually teaches you HOW to manipulate OTHER PEOPLE!!!
Manipulation with guilt - if you want your parents to feel guilty you say this, if you want your partner to feel guilty you say that etc. etc
If you are caught using tactics you should never admit and lie and pretend that you are insulted. I mean SERIOUSLY? Who is this guy?
Then he goes into Emotional Intelligence which have got nothing to do with NLP.
Couldn't listen any more so not sure what other surprises you might find.
Don't waste your money. There are so many good books on NLP so do your research.

Let down

I’m not sure if this is badly written or is the narrator doesn’t understand what he’s reading. Either way, I can away with very little of worth.

Disappointed overall and unsuitable for audio

Not what I was expecting. Very basic, most of the content I already knew from various sources. I was expecting more depth with better flow. This might be better in print as I believe it is not so suitable for audio.

Great for insomniacs

Useful if I was a robot, not everyone can just reprogram their way of thinking
