The reader’s voice and cadence is perfect for this. The book itself is solid, I love the multi dimensional approach to Nehemiah where they look beyond the leader and into the man of God that he was.

The commentary reads more like a how to be a good middle manager than it does on the theology contained in the book of Nehemiah. I was looking for something a little more theology heavy
