Book 2 just as good as book 1!

Loved Ollie's story! This story was just as good as the first one! Again, Ava and Jason are awesome!!! On to book 3!!!

Au Naturel

4,5 stars. Natural Impulse is the second book in a trilogy, situated at a resort for naturists called Au Naturel. This one is about Mara and Oliver (Ollie). A travel agency booked Mara’s holiday for her. Just some time to enjoy nature, watch the birds. She literally faints when she notices all the naked people and Ollie is the one to catch her. It’s a hilarious beginning of a romance between two people clearly meant for each other, although from different worlds. As always I really enjoyed the story and it’s characters (some familiar, others brand new). Loved the ending and the epilogue and can’t wait for the next one.

I loooved the narrators, Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke. . Ava has a great “male” voice.

I really loved Mara and Ollie!

Mara constantly cracked me up with how she reacted to the naturists the resort when she first arrived. Ollie did do a good job of trying to help her acclimate to the environment. Their slow burn start was well worth the wait when the time finally came and boy was it hot!
This book really has everything. Humor, sex, love, anger, sadness and Anna Durand is so good at rolling it all into a story you will absolutely love!
Ava and Jason were fantastic as Mara and Ollie. So many good lines in their performances.

I want book three!

These books have been so much fun to listen too! I can’t wait for the next book in the trilogy.

Mara and Ollie are adorable and HOT!

Mara and Ollie are ADORABLE and hot, which is the perfect combination in my book! I love Natural Impulse, the second in the Au Naturel Trilogy from Anna Durand. It's hot, it's fun, it's engaging, and it's so entertaining, you may want to try a naturist resort for your next vacation.

Having read the first book in this series, I knew that the setting was a naturist (nudist) resort. Mara, our female lead, however, is under a misconception of what, exactly, a naturist resort is. She thinks she'll be spending time in the great outdoors, enjoying the wildlife, bird watching, and getting some much needed space from her ex and her micro-managing family. What she didn't expect was for everyone to be clothes free! Mara is in for the shock of her life when she arrives.

Ollie, our intrepid resort manager, doesn't know what to do to help Mara become comfortable, but he does know that he wants to spend more time with her. He wants to help her break out of her shell and have some fun. Their attraction is instant, and their chemistry is through the roof.

Narrated by Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas, the audio for this book is so entertaining, so enjoyable, and just so much fun. I laughed out loud more than a few times, mostly at the characters inner monologues. Ollie has been burned my love so many times, but he's still optimistic and determined to win Mara over and he works hard at getting to really know her. Mara is trying to really get to know herself in the meantime. Jason and Ava both captured the optimism, the uncertainty and the longing in their characters. I could listen to this audio repeatedly and be happy!

Very funny

Very funny! The first few chapters are a laugh a minute. Mara gets into the silliest scrapes, and Ollie is so kind and encouraging to her. Both of them are total sweethearts and fun to spend time with. The narrators give terrific performances that make the story even better. I have listened to this twice, and I liked it even better the second time.

My Favorite in the Series!!

This is the second book in the Au Naturel Trilogy, a romantic comedy. Oliver (Ollie) and Mara's story is hilarious, steamy, and sweet. The story is set at Au Naturel Naturist Resort, a naturist, aka nudist resort. OMG! The misunderstanding! Some scenes are hilarious! I laughed, a lot! Mara is beautiful, sweet, and naive! Ollie, the resort manager, is handsome, charming, and supportive! They are perfect together. The tension between them is hot! The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again Eve and Val, along with some new colorful characters. The world building is original, and entertaining! Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listening to Natural Satisfaction, the next book in the series. If you like sexy romantic comedy, this one is definitely for you!

Cute and fun!

When you take a naive city girl, put her in a naturist resort which she thinks is going to be the best thing ever to learn about wildlife, mix in an awkward computer nerd, who literally falls hard for her and on her, you get cute and fun Ollie and Mara.

Mara is a sheltered city girl needing a change. With a suggestion from her travel agent, she decides to take a vacation to Au Naturel Naturist Resort where she can enjoy nature, do some bird watching, learn about wildlife, you know, commune with nature. When she arrives, the resort appears to be all she hoped, until she enters the dining hall and realizes all the guests are completely naked. Mara literally falls into Ollie’s arms when she reacts by fainting.
Ollie is a former computer nerd and the assistant manager at Au Naturel Naturist Resort. Meeting Mara has Ollie a little tongue twisted but he is quickly smitten.

From the beginning, Natural Impulse had me laughing. The dialogue when they first met had me laughing out loud and it just keeps going. Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas did a wonderful job narrating Mara and Ollie in all their quirkiness. Ava not only captured Mara’s naiveté but also her strength, while Jason conveyed an awkward but very lovable leading man. Jason does Ollie's self-deprecation beautifully and his comedic timing is perfection.
