Publisher's summary

A new adult contemporary romance set in the heart of country music...Nashville

Part One - Ready to Reach

Ever thought a dream might pass you by?

Nineteen-year old CeCe Mackenzie is determined to make her dreams come true. She heads for Nashville with not much more to her name than a guitar, a Walker Hound named Hank Junior, and an old car she'd inherited from her grandma called Gertrude. But when Gertrude ends up on the side of I-40 in flames, Nashville has never seemed farther away. Help arrives in the form of two Georgia football players headed for the Nashville dream as well. When Holden Ashford and Thomas Franklin stop to offer CeCe and Hank Junior a ride, fate may just give a nod to serendipity and meant to be. Because while CeCe is chasing after her dream, she might find love as well.

Part Two - Hammer and a Song

CeCe McKenzie grew up dreaming of a life doing what she loves - singing in Nashville. When she and her Hound dog Hank Junior set out to make her dream come true, life takes some twists she hadn't counted on. Like falling for Holden Ashford, a songwriter with a gift. And also a girlfriend. Can a country music star's hunky son help her forget about Holden? Or is that even possible when her heart insists on writing the song?

Part Three - What We Feel

Hunky musicians Holden Ashford and Thomas Franklin rescue Nashville bound CeCe MacKenzie and her Walker Hound Hank Junior from the side of the road when her car catches on fire. A less determined girl might have let her dreams go up in smoke as well, but not CeCe. She's been singing all her life, and she just wants a chance to do the thing she loves in a place where music is part of the fabric of life. As it turns out, Holden and Thomas want the same thing, and it isn't long before they're all chasing after the dream together.

Southern Swoon Worthy Romance

Would you consider the audio edition of Nashville - Boxed Set Series - Part One, Two, Three and Four to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version, so maybe not the best question for me to answer. I will say this though. The narration adds so much to this story. I'm not from the south and therefore do not have a southern accent. The narration brings that aspect to life for me and makes the story seem more real to me. I would recommend the audio version hands down. I started reading the next parts (Thomas's story) and it didn't have the same feeling to me. I hope that the next part come in audio as well. OH! Not to mention there are little clips of the songs in the books and that's something you cannot get in print.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I'd have to say Thomas. I love CeCe and Holden, but there is something about the sweet southern gentleman that comes out in Thomas. He is supportive and filled with southern charm. CeCe is my second favorite. She has a sweet voice and one you can see why the boys instantly felt the need to protect and cherish her.

What does Gayle Ambrielle Loflin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices, accents, and feeling of the book. She portrays emotions so well and has the perfect pace throughout the book. You can tell the different characters easily and each are very different. Gayle did an outstanding job, one of my favorite narrations.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me smile constantly. I'm a sucker for the southern gentleman and the funny things they say. It did make me cry (and I was in public no less). Wonderful story with both ups and downs throughout.

Any additional comments?

I got this book for free through the Kindle Unlimited I believe and I had it for quiet some time till I thought I'd give it a try. I wish I would have started it sooner. This is a gem. I love the story and the characters. It's one I would read again and am desperately crossing my fingers that part 5-9 comes out in audio. I would gladly use credits for this series. Do yourself a favor and read this one asap!

Gratuitous extreme gun violence! Warn your readers first!

When there is daily news reports of random lethal gun violence, I DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO IT! I do not want to listen to VIOLENCE AFTER THE MAJORITY of the book gets you invested in sweet nice characters. I listen to audiobooks for entertainment and relaxation. This is NOT a good read. Other reviews are misleading. I want my money back!

Below mediocre

Poorly written story line- too many holes in this story. Boring and missing a real plot.

How is that four books!

I paid $17 for a box set of four books but they was only one book, length and content. I like Cooper bug if I was going to spend $17 for one book, it would have been a best seller! Disgruntled!
