This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... poetisch und einfühlsam, unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten und Weltanschauungen tiefgründiger Weise zu erforschen. Der Roman behandelt Themen wie Freundschaft, Spiritualität, Kunst und Sexualität. Nebts Tiefgründige Analysen gibts durchaus eine gelungene faszinierende und abwechselsreiche Handlung. Hesse at his best. Herr Heidenreich ist auch ein Genuss.

An absolute masterpiece
Meisterwerk! Masterpiece!
Both the wonderfully light but deeply impressing text as well as the incredible voice performance. One of my favourite Audiobooks of all time.
