Publisher's Summary

Are you the victim of a narcissist manipulator? Have you already desperately tried to find a way out without success?

Believe me, you are not alone. There are millions of people that suffer from verbal abuse and emotional invalidation, and most of them never find the courage to face the problem.

Maybe the narcissist is the person you love, and you can’t understand what is happening. You could start believing that there is something wrong with you. Or maybe you are emotionally abused in the workplace, or even worse, you have been raised by narcissistic parents.

Narcissistic abuse acts silently and people around you don’t recognize the situation due to the “social mask” of your abuser. You feel isolated and frustrated. Some familiar symptoms may include sleeplessness, absence of self-confidence, insecurity, constant anxiety, massive weight loss or weight gain, paranoia, and nightmares.

We all know that there is a tremendous lack of practical and reliable information about narcissism, but in this audiobook, Dr. Paul Sharp has condensed all the knowledge you need to deal effectively with narcissist people and finally find peace after narcissistic abuse.

You will learn:

  • How to recognize a narcissist before becoming a victim
  • The six types of narcissist personalities
  • The covert manipulation techniques used by a narcissist such us verbal abuse, emotional invalidation, and stonewalling
  • Why some people attract narcissists more easily than others (and how to reverse this situation)
  • The effects of psychological violence in sentimental relationships
  • The only scientific four-point framework to disarm and devalue a narcissist
  • How to effectively reset boundaries after surviving

Just awesome

This is an amazing e-book approximately narcissism and narcissistic abuse. An magnificent book for somebody who is looking for mending from narcissist relationships.I have perused numerous books on narcissism all of which I purchased from Amazon.com.This is the main book I feel that shows you how to recuperate.Numerous books center around being an injured individual and truly don't assist that much with recuperation from narcissistic maltreatment.

sounds like a bad college essay

I was really interested in learning more about this topic. There's definitely more information than simply reading an article or blog, but it's not written well. The author switches between "you" and "them" and changes who the audience is. The recommendations are not specific to narcissism, they are for any abuse and trauma. The narrator reads the citations. The recording quality is also not great. My overall impression is that it feels like listening to something written by a college freshman. Very disappointed and might return to get my money back.

Nice points

I am listening lots of books it's one of the best books for me. This book opened my eyes to toxic behaviors I was experiencing in the relationship. I now know the red flags to look for so I don't make excuses for others' toxic behaviors, and so I don't allow myself to be subjected to the ongoing and recurring emotional abuse and trauma that these behaviors inflict. I really benefited to listen this book. Thanks to the author.

some good advice, some not good advice

this book mostly focuses on the narcissist abuser being the partner of the victim/survived. having not been in that particular situation I can't say how helpful the advice is.
the con of this book in my opinion is that it comes across as enabling a narciif you keep in contact with them after they have been toxic and abusive. this cook mentions boundaries which seems contradictory to the end message that if the narcissist is a blood relative you should stick by them because no one else will. perhaps I'm looking at this wrong idk. personally, the "helpful tips" like meditation and yoga aren't for me. it should also be made aware thst if you suffer from dissociation ypu should stear clear of meditation is it is often a trigger.
