Movie Preview Caught my Attention!
I decided to download this book only after having seen the previews of the upcoming movie. I am elated that I spent the money. It was a refreshing look into the struggle of an African American women in the corporate & "Free" arena. I really enjoyed watching as Venus grew from an insecure "college student" to an adult who could love and give real love. I am paitently waiting for the movie.

You can't predict the ending to this story. You will go through all kinds of emotions.

Fell in love with myself all over again....
Very nice depiction of the everyday struggels of woman black women and hair. I was even more elated to learn that the book had been made into a movie. I am so glad I listened to the audiobook first. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Much better than the movie.

LOVED IT ALL
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book, it’s reading made me feel like I was there and personally knew the characters. ❤️❤️❤️

Life Assessing!!!
This book makes one take a look at how they are living life and assess what they are really striving for. Then decide if it’s really worth it or if it’s really what you want. Great book!!! I can’t wait to see the movie.
