Rules For Life or Re Inventing Yourself

I purchased this book on the Editors Recommendation $6.99 sale. Wow, of course Napoleon Hill”s teaching are a classic, that is a given. However, I had not actually read one. This buy has been a great eye opener for me. Many of the suggestions are ones we grew up with, so if you did not have that kind of exposure or guidance, this book is FOR you. The sample tells you, if you do not practice what you learn everyday, you may lose it. This book is well organized, set up as building blocks for you to grasp, and if you are already at “Mother Theresa status” great reminders of what needs to be done or kept repeating. If like me, you are a half empty glass of water type person, but want to improve to the half full glass type of personality, then this book is a MUST have primer or daily review. If you want a simple but not easy path for good growth, then this book may help you. It certainly has me on the daily path to a half full glass of water. Were my comments of help?

eye opening and inspiring

loved this book! it's funny how every word applies to some aspect of my life. this is one of the very few books that I can internalize and relate to everyday life. i love the specific examples of how to carry out each task. most books tell you what to do but they don't tell you how to do it or even provide concrete examples. i love love love the fact that it teaches you to be successful the ethical way as to not compromise yourself, your faith or your brand. I listened to it everyday, and will continue to do so.

Narration ruins the message

An uplifting message, but the narration was dry and robotic. I had to make myself listen.
