I am obsessed

JEB is just fire! I love her slow burn romances, I love the depth that she brings to each of her characters so you really grow to love them. You will laugh, cry, cheer, get mad, etc while reading her books. I’m officially hooked, can’t stop won’t stop!

absolutely adorable

highly recommended. loved the cat and mouse flirting between Jake and Avey. the distaste yet irresistible draw she has on him. the struggle to keep her uppity attitude despite her attraction to him was simply adorable.

Not a favorite, but still worth reading

I am not sure why I ended up liking this less but I think because I had a confusing start on this one? Meaning, I felt that the first few chapters had a jumbled turn of events I found myself lost in what’s going on in the midst of listening to it. May e if I read it the traditional way it would have been better? I am not sure. I even missed the impact of that plot twist revelation! I think I would’ve been shocked had I read it instead of listening to it.

I am not saying here, though that this is not good in audiobook format. In fact, the performance were great. The narrators did a great job performing this I enjoyed reading it. Perhaps because our heroine here is your typical diva who lives off on the wealth of her boyfriends. However, despite that trait of hers, in a typical Jewel E. Ann fashion, we see here how she matures as a character and that never fails to amaze me.

I guess it wouldn’t matter in what format you’d prefer to read this one. If you like how this author writes, this is still worth checking out.

The beginning is hysterical! I like how the female character was more confident and began to understand what she deserved in her life. Good listen.
