Publisher's summary

When Emma opens her own salon at last, she is beyond thrilled. It has taken four years of saving and planning to get here, and she even managed to leave her old salon on good terms with her former boss, Gina.

Wishing her luck, Gina has even promised to tell all of Emma's clients that she has her own salon now. With the grand opening only two days away, Emma is on top of the world.

Until someone is murdered right in front of her apartment, that is. The woman is a tourist with zero connections in town, and there is no reason at all that anyone should have killed her; unless you count the fact that she looks remarkably like Emma.

Emma tries to brush it off as a coincidence, but deep down she knows the truth: someone hired a killer to take her out, and another person paid the price.

Driven by guilt, Emma decides that she is not going to rest until she learns the truth. But every time she turns around, it seems that there is another body. And when she finally figures out the truth, it just might be too late to save her.

Nail Vanish

Very cute and fun short story. The narration really brought it to life. The crazy land Lord was a hoot. And every time something bad happens she looses it. This was fun & funny murder mystery.

Wow! So Much Story In Only 1 Hour - Fun Stuff

Nail Varnish By S Y Robins
Narrated By Meghan Kelly

I cannot complement this one hour short story enough. Every minute is packed with action and mystery.

Emma is getting out from under the thumb, in good terms, of her boss and starting her own nail salon. However, there are obstacles from murder and mayhem in this WONDERFUL 'whodunit.'

Meghan Kelly weaves this tale expertly. So much story packed into a one hour book could not have been easy, but Meghan Kelly is a pro, making this book super enjoyable!

A Fun Story!

What did you love best about Nail Vanish?

This was my first cozy mystery and I really enjoyed it! I love the length and the pacing. It was exactly the kind of book that I had been looking for. I wanted something exciting, but not stressful and this was what I needed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Nail Vanish?

The fight scene! I have so much respect for Emma. She is exactly the kind of heroine that I love! She is a wonderfully strong female character!

What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She gave the character of Emma a nice depth that I wouldn't have read in to her if I had just been reading the story. It surprised me at first and I grew to love Meghan's version of Emma.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I listen to audiobooks while walking and there were several lines that made me laugh out loud and then I had to look around and make sure no one was staring.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book if you are looking for a quick, fun listen!

Nail Vanish

I like the book. Short but sweet, with a little bit of mystery. It was easy listening. I liked the performance, it kept me in suspense. I would love if it were a bit longer.

Nail Vanish

Quick short story about Emma, who leaves her employment with Gina, to open her own shop. She is met with many, many problems including murder and arsen. This story kept me guessing. Rob, Emma's boyfriend, was a great sidekick. This story had a nice ending. Meghan Kelly did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Nails, Murder and a little Mayhem

It is an exciting time for Emma who is finally opening her own Nail Salon. Sadly it is made even more exciting when a woman who looks a lot like Emma is murdered in front of her apartment building. So begins this enjoyable short and “Sweet Cozy Mystery” by S.Y. Robins, narrated by Meghan Kelly. I absolutely adored the ending.
