Another fascinating book in this series

I grew up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, not far as the crow flies from Kentucky. My mother used to talk about most of these creatures frequently. She was sure our house in the woods was surrounded by them. That was in a time before the Internet and YouTube and Bigfoot movies hadn't started coming out yet. I don't know how she would have even heard of some of these things back then, much less have been able to describe them, if she hadn't experienced them herself. It's good to know she wasn't the only one.
