This unputdownable book starts mildly but builds up steadily to a fascinating and gripping read. The tension begins fairly low key as Martin marries Caro and inherits her three attractive daughters. But what does their beauty hide? Are they disturbed, evil or merely unsettled by the arrival of their new stepfather in their lives. The author reads her own work and takes you on a roller coaster of a tale. Buy it!

Felt a bit disappointed , was a slow burn of a book and never made me feel like I had to know what came next. Found some of the narration repetitive.
