Publisher's Summary

The focus of teenage twin brothers Tomek and Drake's lives has been survival. In their short lives, hunting, fishing, fighting, and killing have always played a major role.

Forced to take residence on a desolate island, the twins have returned to a woodland way of life. Living off the land has always been the twin's desire and for the first time they will be given the opportunity to do so on their own.

Unsure if the secluded rock in the middle of the Great Lakes is their home or their prison, Tomek and Drake quickly learn that they are not the most dangerous wild beings who inhabit Ascension Island.

Not only will the twins have to battle against the monstrosities of the island, they will also learn that a monster lives inside every man.

Book 3

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This series is one of the best one I have on audiobook. It really gets you and want to listen to the next book as soon as you finish one. Very good narration too.

Molek and Drake start over on an island that is almost impossible to get to.

The twins sister flies the boys to an island that is partially owned by their family. Supposedly no one else should know how to get to the island. Their is an amazing cabin for them to stay in and there are an unbelievable array of wild animals on the island. Just as they are settling in, a helicopter with six men arrive. The men have a different kind of game they want to hunt. The twins hide and watch but are pulled into the sick games of the men. Survival has never been so tenuous.

Twins of Prey 3 nothing is ever is easy or safe

What made the experience of listening to Twins of Prey 3 the most enjoyable?

What made listening to Twins of Prey 3 the most enjoyable 3 was the fact that it picked up right back where the 2nd book left off. This time the Twins were taken too an island that was owned by their family and dropped off by their sister until events in the outside world calm down. Little does she know that business partners of her Grandfathers used the island to hunt human prey. The whole concept is so interesting and very well done. This is perfectly suited to these characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twins of Prey 3?

One of those most memorable moments was on the bridge when it was chopped and the Twins each went a different direction and did not know if the other survived. It created the perfect amount of dramatic tension. This moved the story forward and shaped each Twin in new ways.

Have you listened to any of Daniel Rose’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have listened to Mr Roses performances before and this one is just as excellent as his other performances. He brings a life to the characters of Drake and Tomak where you care about them even though you should think of them as amoral killers raised like wolves.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This was a book I did want to listen to in one sitting it was very enjoyable. I had to stop myself from listening to it all the way through so I could go on with my daily tasks.

loved it.

I loved this book, better than the second but I can't put my finger on why. these books are very violent and bloody but very well written and very entertaining. the island is a seemingly great place for these two. these two boys are like cats, although, they seem to have more than nine lives.
