Love the Bennett Family!

Good quick listen which hold your interest. Good story line and action. I can hardly wait for the next installment to find out what happens between..... Oops, can't tell because it would spoil the story for those who are looking to enjoy it. All I can say that you will not be disappointed in the action and plot.

Another great listen!

I really loved listening to this book along with the other three books in the Detective MIchael Bennett series. The story and readers were excellent in all of them. This is one of my favorite series of books. This series is good to listen to in order because of the character and family situation development. Also because all the books are so good that you don't want to miss out.

Fast-paced and Satisfying

I tended to stay away from James Patterson's co-authored books until I happened to stumble over the first in his Michael Bennett series. I was instantly hooked. Bennett and his family are immensely engaging. I was delighted to see another in the series, and it didn't disappoint. I read the first two and opted to listen to the next two. These audio versions are extremely well done. Bobby Cannavale's narration captures Michael Bennett perfectly in a voice as likable as the written character. Highly recommended.

My first Mike Bennett book, found a new favorite!

This is the first Mike Bennett book I've listened to, and I'll definitely be checking out the others. I would give the story 3 1/2 stars - I liked the characters and the progression of the story, but the "aha moment" at the end was a letdown for me. I gave it an extra 1 1/2 stars because I loved Bobby Canavale. He really made the character of Bennett come alive for me.

Don't bother

If I ever needed another reason to stay away from Patterson's co-authored books, this novel would be it. Tick Tock has more product placement (eg. Tyvek pants; Pixar film) than I noticed in the others; the characterizations are shallow; the plot thin. The end of the novel is rushed and very unsatisfactory not to mention unbelievable. I mean, why would a character who has been painted as black suddenly change colours and be a part of a heroic rescue at the end? Nothing led up to that. We're just expected to believe it with no preparation. These latest books can't hold a candle to vintage Patterson and they never fail to disappoint. Save your money. (Have to add that the reason I kept listening was the excellent narration by Cannavale and Sowers. Top-notch.)

A great listen

I actually loved this book. It was a thriller from the start and if you were not familiar with Dt. Bennet it explained all about him again but not in a boring way. Every chapter kepted you wanting to listen to more. I would recommend this has a nice easy listen. Narration was exceptional as well.

GREAT READ!!!

Tick Tock was fantastic. We loved it. It kept us going all of the way through and the last few chapters were something else.

Love Patterson and his characters.

Wonderful vist with the Bennett family

Michael Bennett the most notable cop on the police force, once again is juggling his family needs and the needs of New York City. His grandfather resorts to the ways of the past to resolve a family problem and Mike must decide if and with whom he will have a romantic relationship. If you love the Bennett family, you will love this one.

Meh

James Patterson must be trying to give Danielle Steel a run for her money with his formula books. Tick Tock was boring and very unimaginative and was just filled with cliches. Again - a huge disappointment.
