Publisher's summary

1945. The day before Hitler commits suicide, he arranges for Nazi leader Martin Bormann to flee to South America in a German U-boat.

1992. Terrorist Sean Dillon is saved from a Yugoslavian firing squad - if he agrees to help the British government retrieve the long-lost documents of Martin Bormann. The wreck of Bormann’s U-boat has been discovered in the Caribbean, along with a secret list of Nazi sympathizers. The names include high-level citizens from the U.S. and Great Britain - and may implicate the Duke of Windsor himself. The evidence lies in a watertight briefcase on the bottom of the sea. And the desperate search to find it will send shockwaves across the world.

Great tale!

Excellent except for the American accent which sounded unconvincing. Slight retraction from the experience overall

okay

Just okay. The intel guys made convenient silly mistakes to propel the story. A bit basic...I liked most of the characters. Jenny was a bit silly...attacked once and still goes around like the bad guys can't get to her. This is just one of the ridiculous situations I took issue with.

Exciting, fast-paced thriller

What did you love best about Thunder Point?

The book moves quickly and is very believable.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dillon, without whom this would have been a very dull read.

Which scene was your favorite?

Early in the book when Henry first discovered the 180.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Third Reich continued.

Any additional comments?

As exciting as this book was, the ending was quite anticlimactic.
