A stranded motorist seeks refuge in a remote mansion and is greeted with a dire warning.... Detective Hercule Poirot faces his greatest challenge when his services are enlisted - by the victim - in a bizarre locked-room murder.

So so

This is a collection of shadow stories that Christie wrote before she wrote her classics. They are the pre stories from which the great stories came. Not bad
Great to hear Hugh Fraser, smooth voice, LOVE

Hugh Fraser

Hugh Fraser does a great job of narrating! I like him best, in all the Agatha Christie novels!

Nice to hear Christopher Lee

Lee does an excellent job with his share of the stories and I like to hear some of the great voices reading, Heston's performance of Hemingway is phenomenal. As for these stories, I really like Witness and Mr. Eastwood's Adventure. The others are good but more of the typical Christie "formula" and these two stand out. Actually I always thought Witness was a novel and not a short so that surprised me. I always enjoy Poirot but maybe he's more fun in the novels.
