Excellent 4 Star Listen

This is one of those books that grabs you at the beginning paragraph & doesn't let go...and it's not one of those extremely violent stories that has someone killing someone on every page. The author does an excellent job in introducing and describing each character. This is a great romance and mystery combined and what really stood out for me is that the conversations and thoughts of each character is so realistic that I found myself thinking, "Yeah, that's what I'd say!" The writing flows smoothly and, I didn't figure out the villain until I was well over the halfway part of the book...because the twists & turns are unique. Kudos to this author...keep up the good work! I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Tricia DiSandro was excellent with the delivery of the story.

Money and greed corrupt the best of us.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Widow and the Will to be better than the print version?

N/A I prefer audiobooks to books. I can do other chores while I listen.

What did you like best about this story?

The twist at the end of who did it.

Have you listened to any of Tricia DiSandro’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. Her diction and cadence were very good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it kept you engaged throughout.

Not what I expected

Read for review and this was not up there with the best. Weak female lead but still enjoyed the story even though it was very predictable. Narrator did a decent job as well. That all may sound negative but I actually enjoyed it on the level u can zone out a little while listening. I will check this author in the future.

Entertaining

Any additional comments?

A good, entertaining and enjoyable story overall. Light mystery. Easy listen, nothing gruesome or gory. Your basic good mystery.

Mystery, romance, suspense, lies, betrayal, family and murder. With a little HEA Good cast of characters, but of coarse Ford was my favorite

While the story is entertaining, interesting and an enjoyable listen, it's pretty easy to figure out who the culprit is and what happened. Money changes people.

Tricia DiSandro did a good job with the narration. Pleasant voice. Good character voices. Clearly spoken. Her narration fit the story.
