WE ARE WHAT WE ARE

At less than three hours, I was entertained. The story is very different and a bit weird. The whole way this couple gets together, just does not seem right, but yet it is what happens. The idea that the main character learned from 39 of his mother's boyfriend was interesting. The main character on the surface seems extremely boring, but behind the scenes, the things he does, makes the story.

Daniel Dorse almost totally ruins the story with his narration. He has the voice of an elderly man, yet he is playing a young man and young women. I was not crazy with the ending, as it was a bit over the top, but I liked the lead up to the ending, enough to give the story five stars. I might try one more in this series, if it has a different narrator.

I was glad that I had my Kindle!

The narration for this book was terrible. He sounded like a deep husky whisper. I could not listen to the book without ear buds which was inconvenient for me. I finally got my Kindle and just read. The book was great. It was short and to the point. I will definitely read the others in the series.
