Not Her Best...
I'm a fan of her work, but this one was subpar for me. The main character was irritatingly naive & made a lot of poor decisions IMO. Not an awful book. and as per Boland's norm, a twist at the end. But overall an average book.

Not what I was expecting
Knowing nothing about this book other than title, listening to the preview. I ordered it. Definitely not what I was expecting. Suspenseful, definitely a thriller. Results at the end is definitely not what I expected. Murder? maybe, maybe not. Definitely worth a listen. Looking forward to the next book

It’s Fiction!
Entertaining story. Katie Villa is my favorite British narrator❤️. Really appreciate her efforts at conveying suspense without shouting. I really didn’t connect with or care about any of the characters except for Frank. I am so glad that he was not abused or mistreated. The relationships between and among the sisters, their beaus, siblings of friends and friends were added spice to the story. This story could have gone so many different ways. As a fan of Shalini Boland, I always expect the unexpected epilogues.

Ending was surprising!! Wow!

I was a little disappointed in the ending but it did leave room for a sequel. And the epilogue made up for it!
