Struggling actress Jane Innes is seduced by a handsome new arrival in her acting class. He makes a proposition. But the con artists underestimated Jane. They miscalculated her tenacity and will to survive. Not one to be crossed, her plan is to use their own weapon, the "art of deception", against them. Outstanding!
Loved this Trilogy, I listened almost straight through the 8 hours in one day. A great story, full of twists. I first heard Shepphird's stories on Alfred HItchcocks mystery magazine podcast, and was happy to see he had a couple books here on Audible. Looking forward to the next one! Great narration too.
