Must have had a deadline. Not a bad book but not up to his usual standards. I am a real fan and you have to listen or read this book but be prepared to be a little let down by the quickness of this read/listen.

Great Listen... Good Story!
Loved it! It's so much more enjoyable to listen to these books rather than read them... at least for me. I really feel like a fly on the wall in them.

Another great Harry Bosch
This is the best way to experience a Michael Connelly police procedural...as narrated by Len Cariou, who captures the melancholy, ornery Harry Bosch perfectly. First serialized weekly in the NYT Magazine, it didn't capture my interest in that format. Shorter then many in this series, but just as good. The ending is clever, but long time series listeners may find parts of it predictable. Still highly recommended.

Very weak story.
Weak story The murder story was the thinnest in the series. Mr. Cariou was excellent as usual.

Shorter than usual but still Bosch.
some reviewers didn't like this book because it was shorter than normal and they didn't like the music. don't be discouraged by those reviews. It was worth it.

I can echo others comments. The music was not needed or could have been softer in sound. Too high pitched for me. Also, book should have been longer.

Great listen/read, but it left me wanting more.
Great listen/read on this Harry Bosch story. It could have used an additional chapter for the ending. Too many things left untied. It was also a little short. The story was great though. The narration was excellent. This could be turned into another season of Bosch on Amazon. Just with a better ending.
