This is the last "James Patterson" book I will waste my time on

James Patterson is one of those authors that I've read so much of that I will automatically buy any of his new releases. Ive been increasingly disappointed in the past few years, but this collection was by far the worst. I can only imagine his collaborators actually write the horrible drivel passing as "literature" and for some reason he is willing to put his name on it.

Plot lines are simple, unoriginal, and poorly developed. Stereotypical characters do the obvious yet unbelievable actions you'd expect from any junk mystery novel.

Don't waste your time and money, or else have a lobotomy before listening!

What did you like best about The Moores Are Missing? What did you like least?

It is a 3 short story. Not the typical Patterson that I like to listen to.

Don't bother

These stories are terrible. I used to love Patterson so this was a huge let down. So predictable and bland. Not worth the time

Three tales of differing genre and quality

The Moores Are Missing should be missed. It is all resolved too quickly and easily. The reason they are missing isn't even interesting. Skip that one.

The Housewife is more interesting with mild porn, but still predictable. There are a couple minor surprises but not great ones. It will make you sad.

Absolute Zero is totally out of the Patterson genre. It's a Special Forces, Ranger, Delta, Spetsnaz, Seal bloody narco-sex-gun-trafficking sort of story. I liked this one the best.

The story MAY have been good...

...but the tedious narration was too distracting! I have read many of his books and enjoyed them-just don't get the narration and you'll be fine. Will update the review when I read the physical book.

One out of three

The first story is really not what I would expect from James Patterson, weak and insipid. The second one is better, but not nearly as good as the third one. Fortunately the first two are not very long, and the really gripping third one is much longer and really good. It is worth it for the third one in my opinion.

A REAL page turner!!

This story is really quite gory, but you definitely won’t drop off to sleep while you’re listening to this!!
The Australian is definitely easy to love 💕! Totally funny when the bad guy calls him Crocodile Dundee!! 😆

Don’t do it

It is worse than you can even imagine. If you are a James Patterson fan take every little thing that you didn’t like about some of the books (but still didn’t ruin it) then put all of those things in this book with no good parts and that is the situation.

so so so disappointed

I'm a Patterson mega fan....but this is entirely way too hard to follow....I am a little pissed, at myself, for not reading the comments prior to wasting a credit on this, although I probably would of gotten it regardless of the comments. my bad.
