A Highschool Promise

Shalini Boland does it again! Saskia Maarleveld was flawless and magnificent.
Anna has a problem..but it isn't Will...Flint is crazy but he is not alone...Shawn is nice but she is not the greatest friend for Anna to have?
This was an awesome Audiobook well worth your credit. You have to listen carefully to get what is really going on.I would say the model of the story is be careful of the friends you make... they could end up being friends or lack that of forever.

What?

I don't mind implausible if it's entertaining. This was just ridiculous. The main character was a giant hot mess of weakness. Save credits or money.. They should pay you for reading this.

The Millionaire's Wife

I'm just not a fan of weak, wimpy main characters that never grow, learn or try to change. Well written by the author, interesting story.

Ridiculous

I just finished this book (only because I'm pretty obsessive about finishing books). I love all kinds of fiction--I'm a pro at suspending disbelief. But this story was completely ridiculous. Really didn't like the narrator's unchanging breathy delivery, either.

The protagonist is so annoying!

I find it hard to fathom that a mother would first hide her child after being married to her true love and then not kill her child's kidnapper without thinking twice! Geez! What a wimpy character! I found myself wanting Will to leave her and pulling for Finn for gods sake.

irritating

Had to quit reading half way through...the irritating female subject was..well...highly irritating. no one with half of a brain would have acted as she did and the longer it dragged on the more agitated I got. stupidity does not make good reading.

Foolish lead character

What would have made The Millionaire's Wife better?

How about writing a smart female lead? This woman was so stupid, making one foolish decision after the other. Trite and frustrating.

Great read.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed The Millionaire's Wife. It has an unusual story line which is quite credible with plenty of unexpected twists.
