Publisher's Summary

A gripping psychological thriller with a twist that will take your breath away

You thought your family was safe.... You were wrong.

BEFORE

Emma Turner had the perfect life, until the day she discovered her husband was keeping secrets - secrets that could mean they lose their business, their home - everything.

Now someone is stalking Emma’s family, watching them from their garden and stealing into their house while they sleep. Emma’s husband is angry. Her son is afraid.

She will do anything to protect them.

AFTER

Emma wakes up in a psychiatric ward with no memories of the past 24 hours and no idea why she’s there. And her husband and son refuse to visit her.

Emma must desperately put together the pieces to find out what happened and ensure her family are safe. But all she can remember is the last thing she saw before she blacked out: a pair of cold, dark eyes.

As Emma begins to recover her memories, will she get her family back - or will the truth reveal that they’re all still in danger?

An addictive psychological thriller that will send chills down your spine. If you love B. A. Paris, Jenny Blackhurst and K. L. Slater, The Last Thing I Saw is for you.

Painfully predictable

This story was dull flat and annoying with an anticlimactic ending.
Characters were cliche and I found myself not caring what happened to them. I could have written a better twist and I can’t write .

Waste of time

Totally unbelievable plot line - no one is that stupid and has the too stilted and proper conversations when their families lives are threatened !
I knew who it was from the start. Do not waste money on this , the delivery was almost painful to listen to,and I had no sympathy for the family as the choices that made in dealing with these “threats” were unbelievable .

Terrible dialogue

The story was good, with a twist at the end that I didn’t see coming. However the dialogue was hokey, and the narrator must not be from the US because she had some weird pronunciations. For example, “progress” was proe-gress and “been” was bean. It’s distracting to keep hearing “ How have you bean?”

Narrator was also terrible at voices, but I’m not sure if that’s her fault or if it’s because of the stupid dialogue.

I won’t read anything else by this author.

Took some energy to finish this book

I think the storyline moved too slow. I figured out what was going to happen too early in the book. But I kept telling myself that there had to be something else to the book. As it turns out, there wasn’t much else though. I may ask for a refund on this one.

Too predictable

I knew from the moment that James appeared that the story would end as it did. I am not normally good at predicting stories, so it’s my opinion that it was far too obvious. The explanations et cetera very labourious and a bit tedious at times

Not the most amazing twist I was expecting

This book did hold my interest but I was expecting more at the end. I thought the twist was going to be more interesting than it was. It wasn’t bad though and fairly enjoyable.

Wow!! Tense, thrilling and ultimately shocking!

Wow. This book had me hooked from the beginning and guessing until the very end. A rollercoaster ride of a read. Highly recommended.
