Victor just may be my top draft pick in my fantasy paintball tournament. Rapp, Hawke, Reacher, Wells, Allon, Ryan, Harvath, Malone. If you know these guys, you will like this book. Engaging from the start.

Orphan X + The Grey Man - a conscience = Victor

Fast paced and well delivered. The action is so quick you don't have time to look at it critically. But the action is self sustaining with no need for "Q" (a la James Bond) cute toys or sub-characters who come up with necessary unique skill specialties.

When I bought this book, I was concerned there would be some moral justification for the killer's mindset or some heart-tugging explanation for why Victor does what he does. But there is none of that. He is a man who kills people, and, when the tables are turned, it happens that lots of people want to kill him and he doesn't really know why. Certainly there is a subtext (actually several) for why, but this book is driven by what happens, not why.

No big moral hand wringing. No flash back justifications. No looking into the mind or background of our anti-hero. Just action. My kind of book.

This is my first time reading this author. It was

so much fun. The action was non stop and the story while exaggerated, was a good ride of adventure.

Fast paced page turner!

Loved it! The narration was great and did a great job pronouncing various accents and voices for different characters. The book was great and I found myself not wanting to hit pause!

Just enough action to keep it interesting but not so much that it became totally implausible.

Possibly, but I listen to a lot of books, and I can't remember for sure.

Waited for it to end. You

It caught my attention in the beginning but by around chapter 70, I just read it get through it. The story was okay, but the narrator left a lot to be desired and sort if contributed to the story lagging. I would not read more books by this narrator, and as for books by this author...it's a toss up. I'll pass on recommending this one. There are so many wonderful books out there in this genre for you to read instead. Happy Reading!

What a ride!

Better than any John Wick, Equalizer, The Account movies. Victor The Assassin is the best killer/CIA series on the market today for its rich detail, page turning action, and well read narration.
