Publisher's summary

White House intern Ryan Lane discovers a secret recording made inside the Oval Office just two days after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Meanwhile, a furtive group of Washington insiders fears this recording will expose the truth - the truth they've suppressed since 1963.

Suddenly, Ryan finds himself framed for murder and entangled in a conspiracy so lethal it threatens to destroy his life and millions of others. Ryan has one chance to prove his innocence and prevent the unimaginable from happening, and that means solving one of the greatest mysteries of our time - who really killed JFK? The race is on.

Some friends are just dangerous to be around

First off I would like to say Mark Ginsburg is outstanding, he is able to bring the characters to life and puts all their little quirks on display.
This is an action book start to finish. The major characters in this book are college students interning in the White House for a year. I am not sure they would ever have the latitude to get into all the situations, but hey that's why this if fiction. There are good cops, bad cops, gangsters, traitors, and it is all mixed up into a great tale about the JFK and RFK assignations, Cuban missile crises. Bay of Pigs, and Russian implements of war in the 1960s .
This book is for sure fast pased, fun, some humor, and typical young people getting over their heads

Barely tolerable for an adult

If you liked the Nancy Drew Hardy Boys mysteries as a kid, this is a notch above that. A troupe of snowflakes in college stumble across info that changes the course of History. The premise is OK, the research is ok but the overall story was jumbled and unbelievable. I listened to his first book (marginal) and though against my better judgment I dowloaded this one (it was cheap) and I went from almost believable to way out there. Liberal snowflakes tackling intense world issues. Has a fairy tale sound to it already. The narration was awful. Going to avoid the narrator and any book that uses him. Little things annoy me in books like this. For example studs in a wall are wither 16 inches on center or 24 inches on center and usually the former. Not 18 inches on center. Author probably hasn't pick up a hammer in his life. Its easy to research If you're going to write it then research it. The subtle religious theme, lack of most bad language and no sex whatsoever (despite his girlfriend being a smoking hot babe,) adds to the fairy tale effect. Rated PG for the occasional curse word. Don't worry, nothing serious. Like the story.
